Cooking Workshops on Wednesdays At Michelle’s offers a range of classes to suit everyone’s cooking skill set.

In the intimate and relaxed atmosphere of my kitchen, learn the ’secrets’ to authentic Italian cookery. Through discussion, demonstration and ‘hands-on’ time, with my guidance, you’ll learn the magic of the CUCINA ITALIA.

Class size is limited to 4 people.

The Secrets to Making Gnocchi – 75.00 per person SOLD OUT
May 6th, 2015 6 pm 

This cooking workshop will teach you the secret to making delicious delicate GNOCCHI. You’ll learn everything from what potatoes to use to how to cook your gnocchi two different ways. The class will finish with you enjoying each style of gnocchi served with classic sauces prepared by me.

The Art of Italian Bread – 125.00 per person SOLD OUT
May 13, 2015 6 pm

This cooking workshop starts with an introduction and overview of the ingredients and technique needed to produce authentic Italian bread. With constant guidance, you’ll prepare and bake grissini, focaccia and Tuscan bread. You’ll enjoy antipasti, prepared by me throughout the class and best of all you get to take your handmade bread home!

Fresh Pasta/Classic Sauces – 125.00 per person SOLD OUT
May 20, 2015 6 pm 

This is the perfect cooking workshop for both new and experienced cooks. The workshop starts with an introduction to the art of pasta making. You’ll have ’hands-on’ time as you learn to make tender authentic pasta with an old-fashioned Italian hand crank roller! Next you’ll learn to make two of the most popular classic sauces: Pesto Genovese and Alfredo Crema.  The class will end with you enjoying ’the fruits of your labour’!

Ricotta and Beet Green Gnudi

Advanced Gnocchi – 125.00 per person
May 27, 2015 6 pm 

This cooking workshop is designed to teach you the subtle art of creating cheese based gnocchi called ‘gnudi’. If you’ve completed my introduction to gnocchi, you’ll love learning how to turn ricotta and mascarpone into rich, delicious cheese based gnocchi.You’ll prepare ricotta and spinach gnudi to take home and mascarpone and lemon zest to eat at the end of your cooking workshop.  This is a class for foodies!
2.5 Hours   4 People
