Caprese salad is my – can’t resist it – would wrestle a grizzly bear for it – favorite salad.
To me, it’s sheer decadence. A whole ball of mozzarella di bufala ripped apart so that the water buffalo milk gently oozes over your plate, slow roasted, just picked golden cherry tomatoes which are a little sweeter than their red cousins nestled in a char roasted red pepper then basil/pistachio pesto drizzled over all… breathe
one year ago: bread and butter pickles
two years ago: crispy prosciutto wrapped asparagus spears
